The most powerful processor today (blazing 160 MHz  Conexant)  coupled with 16Mb of SDRAM and 6 megs of cache  memory make this Viewsat VS2000 one of the fastest FTA receivers anywhere. You can use New Channel Sort feature by SID numbers - The picture quality is more vivid and provides brilliant colors and sharp resolution due to the expanded 16 meg sdram memory. The Average channel-scan feature for typical satellite is usually 30 to 45 seconds.
